![]() ![]() I try to exactly explain about my problem. Others may suggest their procedures and cleaning solutions. Flush with water, distilled if you have hard water, let dry (or else a short circuit can occur with the electronics), and then try again. Change the solution if becomes dirty or every 12 hours. ![]() Occasionally pump the print head up and down on the paper towels to help force solution inside the print head. Place a wadded up paper towel in the bottom of the non-metal bowl of solution and rest the print head on top of it. I GENTLY heat the solution to LUKEWARM in the microwave WITHOUT the print head in the bowl. If this is just clogged nozzles then I recommend first rinsing thoroughly under tap water and then soaking the print head in liquid dish washing soap such as Dawn or Fairy. this does not appear to be from warped nozzles and more likely from clogged or burned out nozzles or possibly a dirty timing strip. The nozzle check image is a little dark and needs to be cropped or a close up taken to visualize the Pigmen Black portion.įrom what I can see, you have horizontal missing ink. The blurriness looks like it's printing each character multiple times but not quite lined up horizontally.Īny suggestions as to what might be causing this and on how to fix would be gratefully received.Ĭlick to expand.Hello Alexander. One line prints right, 3 equally "blurry" and the other one darker. If I print a Windows Printer Test page, then the effect I see is a repeating pattern of 5 lines of text. The second shows the pattern for all colors and illustrates the effect on some text (at the bottom). The first image is a closeup of the PGBK pattern. I've attached a couple of photos of the Nozzle Check pattern produced by the maintenance tools, which illustrates the problem quite well. I have run the automatic head alignment, nozzle cleaning and deep cleaning program and the effect is unchanged. ![]() When printing text, some of the text comes out blurry or doubled, and the problem appears to be associated with the PGBK ink cartridge. The printer isn't used a great deal, though it is on standby most of the time. I think I have branded XL Canon ink cartridges though it's possible they are good copies. I have a Canon MG6350 Wireless multi-function printer. ![]()
